In 2023, I’m from the future and I’ve come to tell Taylor about what life is like. Taylor asks about my career, and I explain that it’s going great. Taylor wants to know what a normal day looks like, so I tell them a story about a guy called cat turd who was a fan of Elon Musk but got angry when Musk blocked him on X (I clarify that X is actually Twitter, only referred to as X now). This leads to a discussion about Trump becoming president because of Twitter, and how Twitter got blamed for ruining democracy. I explain that because of this, Tech took a turn and platforms like Twitter were abused by political actors. The conversation then turns to the Kardashians, who are now billionaires and influential figures. Caitlyn Jenner’s transition and the trans rights movement are also mentioned. I explain that discussing sensitive topics on X can lead to being fired or arrested for hate speech. There’s a lot of manipulation of public opinion and unethical practices. Cat turd and James Woods are upset with Elon Musk because he wants to remove the block button, and there’s a dispute happening because of it. I mention that Elon Musk is the world’s richest man, but he recently lost a lot of money, possibly due to lawsuits. Finally, I mention that in 2023, I am retraining as a lawyer.
